OK... Who has changed their mind about going to Valla??

Hi People

its been pouring rain here in Scone all day , and I'm wondering if I should leave My Beetle at home and take the other car...??

If it rains tomorrow and is still raining on Friday Morning...???

We have to go as We have booked accommodation...

although it did rain all the way in 2006 but I wasn't in My beetle then...

LEE

Hi Rose...

No, I just don't like it getting wet....:lol::lol:

on the outside... lol

and I might wear My new windscreen wiper rubbers out...

or My mud flaps may get wet...

not to mention the running boards... lol

and My extractors and muffler.... how will I keep them clean?

BUT....
My Heater boxes work great...... lol
I love driving in the rain with My heater On.....

Well.... that settles it ROSE...

I'll be there.......

LEE

PS: I might just go and polish it once more before it gets wet.. lol... and clean under the hubcaps.... lol

I'll have to close that sunroof too... lol or drive very fast...

Don't drive fast - you may hit a tree or go over a cliff if you do.

Lee,
We'll all be in the same boat (maybe a boat would be a smarter choice...!)

You'll really miss out if you don't drive the vw up. Especially if the rain clears up!

Glad you seem to have resolved to come in the bug.

Now just do it do it!!

Lee, the Notch has new front brake bits, oil change etc, new windscreen rubber, accessory sockets now in for mobile phone and satnav and hasn't been to Valla since 2006! You ask if I'm leaving the Notch at home! It's getting wet whether it likes it or not! Wouldn't be the same feeling driving the Crumpledore!

Had worse times in August 1969 when Warrell Creek was flooded and the diversion was around the hills somewhere back to Kempsy. Great driving a Notch with caravan in tow!!
